Заведующего отделением военного госпиталя в Кутаиси задержали по обвинению в получении взятки от призывника. Об этом сообщает Следственная служба Минфина Грузии.
По данным ведомства, операция проводилась совместно прокуратурой Западной Грузии, Антикоррупционным агентством Службы госбезопасности и генинспекцией Минобороны.
Следствие установило, что обвиняемый за 3 тыс. лари пообещал оформить призывнику медицинское заключение с ложными данными, которое позволило бы уклониться от прохождения обязательной военной службы.
По судебному ордеру проводилась скрытая съемка, подтверждающие противоправные действия врача.
Дело расследуют по части 1 статьи 338 УК Грузии (получение взятки), которая предусматривает наказание в виде лишения свободы сроком от 6 до 9 лет.
Следственная служба Минфина призывает государственных служащих и граждан воздерживаться от участия в коррупционных сделках, подчеркивая, что реакция на подобные преступления будет жесткой.
The head of a military hospital department in Kutaisi was arrested on charges of taking a bribe from a conscript. This was reported by the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia.
According to the agency, the operation was conducted jointly with the Prosecutor's Office of Western Georgia, the Anti-Corruption Agency of the State Security Service, and the General Inspection of the Ministry of Defense.
The investigation established that the accused promised to provide the conscript with a medical certificate containing false information for 3,000 lari, which would allow him to evade mandatory military service.
Covert surveillance was conducted under a court warrant, confirming the doctor's illegal actions.
The case is being investigated under Article 338, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of Georgia (receiving a bribe), which provides for imprisonment from 6 to 9 years.
The Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance calls on civil servants and citizens to refrain from participating in corrupt deals, emphasizing that the response to such crimes will be tough.
