ТБИЛИСИ, 26 марта – @NGnewsgeorgia. В Озургетском муниципалитете 23-летнего геймера задержали по обвинению в умышленном убийстве – по одной из версий, нападение он совершил по «приказу» из компьютерной игры. Об этом сообщает TV Pirveli.

Случай произошел вечером 25 марта. Жертвой стал 58-летний сосед, ранения ножом оказались смертельными. Нападавший скрылся, но через несколько часов его нашли в лесу в нескольких километрах от дома. По словам очевидцев, он пытался свести счеты с жизнью и нанес себе ножевые увечья.

Хотя полиция изначально заявила, что преступление произошло «на почве взаимной ссоры», несколько источников подтвердили TV Pirveli, что следствие изучает возможную связь с видеоиграми.

«Мы так поняли, что этот парень играл в компьютерные игры и выполнял приказы», – сказал депутат сакребуло Озургети от правящей «Грузинской мечты» Гела Арошидзе.

По его словам, семьи обвиняемого и жертвы поддерживали добрососедские отношения, конфликтов между ними не происходило. «Сам этот ребенок был затворником и вообще не выходил на улицу, он постоянно сидел за компьютером», – добавил Арошидзе.

Отец задержанного подтвердил, что у них изъяли компьютерную технику и мобильный телефон сына. Он говорит, что не знает, чем конкретно занимался сын, проводя за компьютером дни и ночи. «Понятия не имею, что он там делал – сидел за компьютером 24 часа. Он ложился спать в 4 часа ночи, в час дня вставал», – рассказал мужчина.

Следствие ведется по статье 108 УК Грузии – умышленное убийство. Преступление карается лишением свободы на срок до 15 лет.

TBILISI, March 26 – @NGnewsgeorgia. In Ozurgeti municipality, a 23-year-old gamer was arrested on charges of intentional murder – according to one version, he carried out the attack following an "order" from a computer game. This was reported by TV Pirveli.

The incident occurred on the evening of March 25. The victim was a 58-year-old neighbor; the knife wounds proved fatal. The attacker fled, but several hours later he was found in a forest a few kilometers from the house. According to eyewitnesses, he tried to take his own life and inflicted knife wounds on himself.

Although police initially stated that the crime occurred "due to a mutual quarrel," several sources confirmed to TV Pirveli that the investigation is examining a possible connection with video games.

"We understood that this guy was playing computer games and following orders," said Gela Aroshidze, a Sakrebulo (council) deputy from the ruling Georgian Dream party in Ozurgeti.

According to him, the families of the accused and the victim maintained good neighborly relations, and there were no conflicts between them. "This kid himself was a recluse and never went outside at all; he constantly sat at the computer," Aroshidze added.

The father of the detained man confirmed that they seized his son's computer equipment and mobile phone. He says he doesn't know what his son was specifically doing while spending days and nights at the computer. "I have no idea what he was doing there – he sat at the computer 24 hours a day. He went to bed at 4 a.m., got up at 1 p.m.," the man recounted.

The investigation is being conducted under Article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia – intentional murder. The crime is punishable by imprisonment for up to 15 years.
